Welcome to 2nd Eclipse Season of 2026 everyone! And we are officially in the Lion’s Gate passage since July 26th. Take a breath. After a mercury retrograde that felt like a long pause and was perhaps frustrating to many–we are now getting prepared to move forward in a bigger way.
This month of August is likely to be one of the most powerful months of this year! The Lion’s Gate passage that goes from the 26th of July through the 12th of August and peaks on the 8th is an astrological and numerological phenomenon that occurs when the star Sirius aligns with our sun in the sign of Leo. It is always a time for boosting your abundance quotient, self-worth and the quality of your love life or relationships.
It’s also a time to set intentions for any area of your life and manifest with greater speed and ease. Inner transformation, upleveling or making any major changes in your life is also highlighted. So if you’ve been wanting to make a leap forward, now is the time. Choose the timeline you want to be on!
On the 12th of August, just at the end of the Lion’s Gate passage, we will have a Total Solar Eclipse in Leo. With all the emphasis on Leo energy and this particular eclipse being in the fifth house, it’s definitely serves you in shining your light, leadership and sharing your special gifts and unique expression in the world. If you are doing that already, this energy might emphasize working with your creativity and passion more, doing what you love most.
It’s also a reminder that your true purpose should feel like play. And this is the time to let yourself be seen. No more playing small! At this time on the planet, all lightworkers and starseeds are needed. All hands on deck will help accelerate the shift in consciousness occurring here.
And as we move beyond the Lion’s Gate and the solar eclipse, we will be integrating the first set of eclipse energies. For those who are ready, during the eclipse sandwich or within the time of the second eclipse, blindspots will be revealed. Any important aspect(s) that you’ve been unable to see clearly or acknowledge in your life can come into full view.
So take it all in, make changes, be accountable for past mistakes and take responsibility in the ways needed so that your life and purpose can move forward in the way your soul desires.
As time unfolds towards the end of August, on the 28th, we will have a Partial Lunar Eclipse in Pisces. This eclipse energy can help you open up to receive healing where it’s needed. This is a potential for many and one that can bring renewal, hope, promise and set you well on your soul’s destiny course. If you are already on that course, then much of what is required for progress can align, deepen and/or take off for you.
But the significant factor in this second eclipse is the letting go. There will be something that needs releasing, big or small. And it may require an ending or severing of something or with someone important to you.
This can be profound so expect the emotions to flow. There is a great beauty in any grief process. And of course with endings comes new beginnings! So look for the rainbow after the storm.
Know that this can also be a time of completion with particular long-standing issues or patterns, soul contracts or karmic debts. You may be more aware of your growth and the likelihood of bigger dreams or goals being attained either in the near or far future. Allow yourself to be guided and led forward by these dreams, reminding yourself that it is the journey that matters most not the destination.
As a reminder, eclipse energies take time to integrate. Often it takes six months or even up to a year to see the changes that can come from the shifts made during an eclipse season. With all of the other energies we are receiving in this time: higher frequencies, solar flares, divine codes and other unique and novel transformative energies, it is important to stay present and take good care of yourself.
Each day you might feel different. Life navigation requires discernment and self-care. It often involves the shifting of your schedule in a moment’s notice or slowing down to be able to handle the integration of these energies with ease and grace.
We are not in Kansas anymore folks! Although these are exciting and extraordinary times–certainly times we were born for, we can’t continue living or operating as we did in the past. So make the adjustments that you know are needed daily or moment by moment in order to flow better and stay balanced on a regular basis.
Most of all, be extra gentle or tender with yourself and others. We are all moving through our own challenges, no matter how it might appear. Holding a space of compassion or forgiveness for self and others is what sets us free! Even with those who we thought we’d never be able forgive, in our personal lives or on the human collective world stage, at this point in our spiritual evolution it is a must!
For the forward momentum that many are looking for in this time, releasing the baggage and raising your frequency is key. Whether you are taking a first step or completing a cycle, compassion and 100% forgiveness is the way to go.

The purpose of this post is to share some recent work I’ve been involved with in the Farm Animal & Wildlife Project during 2026. It has been an enjoyable and busy year so far working with farm and wild creatures. I’ve been grateful to be able to work with a variety of different kinds of animals this year so far.
At the start of this year, January 2026, I went out to Raymond Wildlife Area near Flagstaff, AZ to work with some wild bison who live there. It was a beautiful experience to connect with a large group of bison who were living happily in their herd. They told me how much they cherished their home and family. They had concerns for their safety due to hunting in the area. I was glad to offer them energy healing to support their physical health and emotional well-being.
On the same visit I was able to offer healing for some elk and antelope as well. In March, I took a trip to visit an alpaca farm near Prescott Valley, AZ. This ranch is a home for many alpacas as well as their human caretakers. It is also a part-time petting zoo.
Much like the bison, I found the alpacas were content at their home and in their larger herd. There was one large paddock that opened up into pasture which was great for the younger alpacas to roam freely, run and play.
When I asked them how they were doing, the group majority said they were happy and at ease. Some of the females were a little bored in the smaller paddock and would have liked some toys or games to play, as well as an option to roam more freely in a open pasture like the younger ones had.
For the most part, they didn’t mind visiting with human strangers as part of the petting zoo since it didn’t happen very often. Some of them looked forward to the treats, but most of them preferred their own alpaca company or the company of the human caretakers. I’ll share more about my thoughts on petting zoos near the end of this post.
I passed this info. from the alpacas on to one of caretakers and did some energywork for an alpaca who had a small, partially healed foot abscess. I also did a group healing for the overall emotional and spiritual well-being of the herd.
In April I had the pleasure of being able to visit a local pig sanctuary, Snouts of Sedona, in the Village of Oak Creek. What a wonderful place for rescued pigs to live!
I had the chance to work with some pigs individually who had really tough backgrounds. A few were guarded and defensive with humans because of inappropriate handling, emotional issues and/or chaos in their previous homes. Many of them had rejection and abandonment issues which isn’t surprising considering the circumstances.
I have since heard from the owner, Colleen Hinds, who has told me, “all of the pigs are thriving.” She also told me that in particular, “Betty has shown improvement since the healing and gets better and better every day.” Betty is a pig that has had defensive behavior issues. I was so happy to hear this, but so sad to know that the rescue has since moved to southern Arizona. They all felt like family to me!
In May I visited a farm with many different rescued animals just outside of Flagstaff, AZ. I worked with some rescued deer, elk and alpacas. The alpacas were grieving the loss of a close friend, another alpaca who lived with them. One elk I worked with had been injured out in the wild. The mule deer I worked with had been abandoned by their mother in the wild and were ultimately rescued because there was a wildfire in the area.
All of these animals received energy healing from me to help release the trauma and support their physical health, emotional well-being and boost their divine connection. Just like us, animals need their spiritual connection so they can thrive as well.
Some animals living on farms, rescues or in petting zoos who are deprived of extra freedom and autonomy in their lifestyle as well as loving care from their caretakers get cut off from their divine connection. Specifically with petting zoos and places with really small paddocks or tight living spaces, because they don’t have the liberation of full desired movement and how their day flows, animals can get bored, depressed or even become dissociated from their bodies.
Animals who are often fed as motivation to be friendly with human strangers who visit a petting zoo can also develop behavioral and emotional issues when they come to expect that from every human. In many cases, they don’t learn to bond with humans through mutual curiosity or connection, it becomes all about the food. Also, in a lot of cases I think they are overfed!

Here we are, in the last quarter of the year! We are approaching the Samhain pagan holiday and Halloween, just beginning the Scorpio season. If you are like me, you might really enjoy this time of year for all that it offers–the cooler temps, the walks in nature, gatherings, festivities and spending more time going inward. In particular, activities that involve reflection, meditation, creativity and divination or any other kind of metaphysical or spiritual practice can be enhanced by the thinning of the veils that happen this time of the year.
But this year, the season might feel even more intensely magical and mystical. We kick off the season with a New Moon in Scorpio on November 1st. Since the sun is also in Scorpio, that accentuates many of the scorpionic qualities like passion, power, psychic abilities, heightened emotions and mystery. With the combination of this new moon and the Samhain pagan celebration/Halloween holiday on Oct. 31st, the theme of death and rebirth is very present for many of us.
Much of what has been hidden within that has not been seen, felt or acknowledged can be in this time. Any issues with relationships, especially close ones, those with power struggles, grief, resentments or any other kind of pain or turmoil might be coming up to be healed. The same will be true for our issues with money and abundance. Any past wounding, obstacles or failures can arise in our consciousness to be seen, felt and integrated.
On a lighter note, we’ll also benefit from reclaiming the resources that have been hiding under the surface, waiting to be revealed to us in this time. In this way, we can discover solutions, strategies, healing and other gifts that we need to help us transform in this time period. But we have to be wiling to go within to find them. They will be illuminated for us there if we are willing to look.
And on the outside, some of what might be coming up in the external world or in our personal lives will also be prompting us to go within and find what we truly need there to expand and fulfill ourselves, to progress on our journey as we embody more of our higher self.
Deep inside of us, we’ll find all of the safety, security, love and support we could ever want from anyone or anything in our external lives. For some, during this accelerated integration cycle they will find themselves in closer connection or relationship with God/Source than ever before.
So the death theme is real. This can be something you have recently experienced in your past or are maybe expecting with someone or something in your current reality. It may even be a drastic transformation in your own life! These deaths can be physical or metaphorical. There is a release of the illusion of who you were. Your old identity falls away as you align more with your divine identity. There are endings and completions happening. And all of them can potentially bring up feelings of loss or grief.
This process of letting go and the metaphorical dying can be experienced for some through feelings of sadness, anxiety, confusion and even anger. Other people report feelings of dissolution or the experience of being completely untethered from their old life and self. It can also feel as though you’ve woken up in a new reality without the familiar markers and reference points for life navigation.
Without the usual external mirrors of reflection, some people might feel like an outsider looking at their self, life and the world from a whole new angle. At first it might feel disorienting making the shift from more of a horizontal view of reality to a vertical one.
But for those who have had or are having these dreamlike moments of higher consciousness perspective, you’ll soon see through this temporary and illusory reality and understand what it truly means to be part of something much bigger. This is when our connection to God/Source expands to the degree that the experience of unity is so profoundly felt on all the levels of our being.
And for all of us right now, no matter what your experience might be, remember to allow for the transformation by accepting what is happening and feeling what is arising, so your process can unfold. If you need extra support, ask your higher self to send you a palpable sense of where you are headed energetically. This can help bring more ease and comfort on this part of the journey, as well as an internal knowingness of your direction and next steps.
There will be surprises, epiphanies, revelations and increased psychic awareness at this time. This will happen on personal and collective levels, because for many, we can no longer deny the truth. It will be made known to those who are ready. As the saying goes, the truth will set you free!
And ultimately, this is what your soul is after. The rebirth! The new you. The upgraded, more integrated and powerful you! As you complete this cycle of letting go of what was, you reclaim your gifts, talents and higher destiny. You step into a greater degree of mastery and start walking a higher timeline where more of your soul’s deepest desires and dreams have been waiting for you. Keep in mind that these are desires of the soul, not the ego. But that means it’s possible to achieve a greater level of happiness than you could have ever imagined.
And that will be well worth all past efforts in walking this unknown, fluctuating and at times precarious journey so far. Remember that we were made for these times and that we chose to incarnate during this cycle on the planet to be in service through our own ascension process, specifically to anchor in a higher frequency here. But most importantly, know the best is yet to come. As more of us step into our sovereignty as creator beings, we can truly begin creating a life that’s in resonance with the ascending collective reality and Gaia, our own personal version of heaven on earth!

On the Energies of the Eclipse & Equinox Gateway..
We are now in the gateway to another powerful season as we approach the Lunar eclipse on Sept. 17th and the Fall Equinox, on Sept 22nd. With the two cosmic events so close together, the energies are amplified.
Change, illumination and expansion can be witnessed in many life areas. But for many, as the Equinox sits on the Virgo/Libra cusp, much can arise with relationships. Areas of work, day-to-day living and manifestation abilities are also highlighted.
Manifesting with greater ease has been increasing for all of us exponentially over the last several years and will continue to accelerate through this gateway that takes us through the end of October. Be conscious of what you focus on, add energy to or engage with in an emotional or sentimental way because what you give attention to will expand. If you need to clear the air or release on any level or in any way, by all means, do so! But then, remember to re-center yourself in the present with your truth.
And if there is something dear and true to your heart that you desire, call it in! The power of the voice in connection with the higher levels and soul’s free will to create a personal reality of your choosing is happening for many now.
As for the relationship sector, expect the unexpected. This is a time of completion and also upgrading. During this gateway which takes us all the way past the solar eclipse on Oct. 2nd and through the end of October, there will be reunions, reconciliation, closure and beginnings happening in many cases.
It’s a time to tie up loose ends, forgive, heal and let go where needed. Some relationships from our pasts may be given a second chance to start over again. For others, we will be meeting new people—more of the soul family variety. These folks will walk with us in this unprecedented time.
In addition, some might feel confused or awkward in this gateway, unsure of what to expect or how to go forward. As more of us step into the higher frequency bandwidth now available to us on the planet, we can feel supported and uplifted as we continue to release the heavy density. But this is still uncharted territory for many.
When navigating this mysterious time, it can be challenging for some to flow without reference points or a clear vision of bigger outcomes. The best advice is to sit tight, stay present and be in acceptance with what is at the moment. Surrendering to the unknown allows for a greater awareness to be revealed in right timing.
When that times comes, which is just around the corner, many will feel a huge shift into lightness, freedom from previous limitations and the enthusiasm that comes with the launching of a new purpose, vision and life that’s in alignment with the evolution of their soul. It’s a rebirthing that brings the tangible rewards from all the inner work we’ve been committed to over time—decades for many of us. And that will be something worth celebrating!
