As many of you are aware, much like April, May is off to an accelerated start. We are receiving an unprecedented amount of light and higher frequencies each day. Because of the lightening of density, our experience of time is speeding up.
On top of that, many are going through big upgrades on a body, mind, spirit and energetic level. So each day you might truly feel like a new person.
What does this all mean for everyday living? Take extra good care of yourselves! Rest more. Slow down. Prioritize your time. It’s a good time to think about what is really important in your life right now and what isn’t–people, environments, type of work you do, activities, etc. Eliminate what no longer works for you. This is the time to put your attention on what is for your highest and best each day.
When your body feels heavy or fatigued know that this is due to the releasing of density in the body and energetic fields. If you feel apathetic and emotional, this is also part of it. As we integrate the light, we let go of what is toxic on a physical, emotional, mental and energetic level.
So this is why we need to tend to our physical bodies especially. It helps to be in quiet stillness, meditating at least once a day and being outdoors with cell phones off for one to two hours a day if possible.
The moon cycles also reflect these major shifts this May! On May 1st we had a Full Moon in Scorpio. It was a biggie and I know many of you are still feeling it! This one was pushing the revelations to the surface of our awareness so we could be honest and true to ourselves and others.
This isn’t always an easy process. Many of us had sudden or unexpected epiphanies to help us redirect our course in relationships, work, home life or with finances.
On top of that, I feel that this Scorpio moon cycle has been a time of loss or letting go for many. So it has been a tender time. I’ve heard of several friends and clients losing loved ones, people they know and pets.
For myself personally, I was sad to see two doves who lived in my backyard move on after my cat got into their nest. I am glad they are both okay, but I will miss their beautiful, sweet energy and the innocence and purity they radiated everyday. They built the nest just two feet outside my back door on the trellis that runs along my patio. It was something to witness!
And this is what we have to carry forward with us in this new time. The awareness of beauty, wonder, awe, gratitude, blessings, love and support that we gain from our losses is tremendous. Even the death of a loved one can cleanse and clear the past, open us up to new experiences, help us expand in ways we’d never imagine and allow us to gain new perspectives on our lives.
The next moon cycle starts this coming Saturday, May 16th. It’s a New Moon in Taurus. This one can help us realign and ground ourselves since the last full moon. The sun and moon will both be in Taurus, so it’s a good time to connect with the Earth and her creatures more and focus on expanding abundance.
Abundance isn’t just about money, it also includes robust health, harmonious relationships, healthy self-worth, a beautiful home or city and other resources that boost your life experience. This moon cycle will offer us the chance to practice practical steps to bettering these areas of abundance that are highlighted in our lives.
This new moon is conjunct Uranus, so expect that unexpected opportunities may come your way that can enhance your life and your finances. If you’ve been struggling financially this would be the time to make some important changes.
Because it’s an earth sign, this next New Moon in Taurus can motivate us to plant seeds that will benefit the physical side of our lives. We may literally be called to plant seeds in our backyard for healthy food or really tend to our physical health in an important way. We might also want to connect with, assist or appreciate mother nature more or begin building or changing our home or something on our property that is meaningful.
I felt such grief with the loss of the doves on my property. So I sent prayers and blessings their way for an easy passage to safety and a new home without the threat of predators. I wanted them to understand that I didn’t mean for any of this to happen with them having to move. After sending this blessing yesterday, I asked Gaia and God for a sign that they did indeed receive all the love and support I sent them and that they were doing well.
I had not seen or heard them for a week after they left my property. The day after sending the blessings and asking for a sign I woke up to hearing the doves’ beautiful song again! I also glimpsed out my window and saw one of them perched on top of a power line in my backyard.
I know they won’t be back living here, but I knew their song and presence today was a way for them to relay their gratitude to me for the love and support. They wanted me to know they were doing well and that we’d always be connected in some way. I know they are living not too far away and can see or visit my yard when my cat is not out there.
These are the moments of joy and magic that can occur with divine intervention when we surrender to the experience of grief, loss or letting go! Thereafter we get to witness the unfolding of mystery and delight in our lives!
This is why slowing down, prioritizing and being present is so important right now. These are the special moments, just being aware of where we wake up everyday and all that we are grateful for at home and in our own backyards!
So relish the miraculous this month! Make even the most mundane and earthly experiences be fulfilling, enlivening and restoring to your being. Let it help you prepare for the second half of this unpredictable, fast-paced and spirited year of the fire horse!
Love & Blessings! ~Heather
